Adieu

Shade of shame,
a solid black
burdens beard
without attack
a single stance
while courage lacked,
time remembered
untainted fact
all to loose
and none to gain
the truth is there
and so's the pain,
moving on, to times end
as the clock
begins again
holding true
to what's inside
pretend the smile
and say goodbye.
