Karen Glover is a graduate of Art Center College of Design, having studied industrial design with an emphasis in entertainment design. This challenging course of study provided her with extensive training in traditional model making, sculpting, computer modeling, digital painting, as well as an intensive immersion in illustration and fine art techniques.

“I’ve always wanted to engage people in recollections of the joys, terrors, and innocence of childhood. I’ve attempted to develop my skills so that I can also express my sense of whimsy and humor.”

While she continues to take freelance jobs, Karen seeks to find the right balance between her personal imagination and professional adaptability. She would eventually like to realize her dream of working both in children’s book illustration and animation.

Karen lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two cats, and two dogs, in a bungalow she is restoring to its original promise.
