That’s right, it is the first annual “Put Your Guy on the Cover of Melt” contest.

If you’ve got a hottie you think the rest of world should know about, here is your opportunity to show him off. Not to mention it’s a great way to let your boyfriend or husband know just how special you think they are.

Perhaps you don’t have a boyfriend or husband at the moment but having been eyeing some hottie at work or maybe you will bump into him at the store or at some club. Whatever the case may be, we don’t care; if you think he’s worthy, submit his best photo for us to look at. And just think what great icebreaker telling him you’re scouting for the 2004 model for Melt Magazine will be!

From now until November 20th we will be excepting submissions. Periodically, we will post our favorites so you and other viewers can vote for your favorites. November 30th will end the voting process and the winner will be informed via mail or email. The rest of you will have to wait until the issue is released to find out who the winner is.

The submitter will receive a certificate stating her man is the winner (a nice way to announce to him, his newly coming fame.)

The winner will appear on the cover of Issue 33 released January 2004.

The photographer will be given cover photo credit. If the submitter and the photographer are not the same the submitter will be given “finders” credit.

Both the photographer and the winning model will receive a printed copy of the cover.

Both the photographer and the model need to sign release forms and submit them via postal mail. Any submissions made with out the receipt of both forms will not be posted.

You can submit as many photographs of as many hotties as you would like, via mail or email. Any photographs submitted by mail will not be returned.

So brush up on your photography skills and get creative and start shooting “your” visual pleasure. We want to see him!
