Drowning in these waves
My arms grasp for the board
My lungs gasp for some air
I 'm so tired now,
Sinking more frequently
Each decent is longer than the last
I want a strong hand to help me out
Or better…
I want to sink
But something won't let me
Something makes me come back up.
Above the wake, again
On this ocean deep
I grow more tired
But, my arms continue to grasp,
my lungs continue to gasp
And my body continues to survive
