Jeff Julian is a native southern Californian. He grew up working with his father in his automotive shop, where his interest in cars and anything mechanical began.

"Mix that with my passion to draw, paint and sculpt and discover what lead me away from sports after high school. I was lettered in track, football and baseball and had an offer to play football at USC or rugby in Hawaii, where I also considered a career as a surgeon, but it was my passion for art that brought me to the ART CENTER COLLEGE of DESIGN in Pasadena, California."

Jeff studied industrial design and graduated with honors. He also taught packaging, painting and design and began his professional career while still in school designing for CALVIN KLIEN, GUCCI and JOOP. After his first semester, he did an intern at BMW and was offered a position, but chose to finish college. However, he continued to freelance until graduation and then began work with OAKLEY designing eyewear and watches, etc.

After 7 months, George Lucas' Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) also took an interest in his talents. ILM was just the beginning of his career in the entertainment business. He continues today working on many commercials and features. Most recently his credits include MINORITY REPORT, BAD COMPANY,
and I-ROBOT.
